Remove "Add Header" or "Add Footer" from Page View

How do you remove the "Add Header" and "Add Footer" from being visible in Page View (example below)? It wasn't visible in Excel 2011 but is visible by default on 2016. I can't find a preference for this.

    Hi Christopher,

    The behavior can’t be changed in Excel 2016 for Mac now. I suggest you submit your feedback on our Excel 2016 for Mac UserVoice as it is the direct way for product developers to know users’ requirements.
