"Find and Replace" - Extra space when pasting text

Hi,

Seem to be encountering a bug since a recent update and was wondering if anyone else was experiencing this issue.

An extra space keeps appearing at the end of a line whenever I paste any content into the "Advanced Find and Replace" dialog box. I copy-and-paste rather frequently from a list of wildcard searches that I use. Deleting the extra space is a bit of a hassle.

Is this happening for anyone else?

It looks like the issue has resolved itself. I was copying from an Evernote file, and they recently released an update that included a fix for this specific issue. Thanks for your help!

    Hi Kyri,

Thanks for your reply in private message.

We suggest you follow the steps below to uncheck smart copy/paste and check if it works.

    Edit menu>Substitutions>uncheck "Smart copy/paste" option.

If the issue persists, to further investigate the issue, please help to confirm the information below:

    1. Did you perform the steps in my initial reply to copy content in the Find what box?
    2. Does the issue happen to all documents or a specific document?
    3. Does the issue happen when you copy content in the body of the document?
    4. Does the issue happen to other Office programs?
    5. Regarding "Also, if it helps, I'm copying the wildcards from the Evernote file", does the issue happen when you paste the wildcards from other programs?
    6. In addition, could you clarify the paste formatting? (Keep source formatting or match destination formatting?)

    Regards,

    Tina
