Powerpoint Insert Links Zoom function missing

Looking at the customize ribbon tool in powerpoint (MS Office Professional Plus 2016 v1711) I see the insert, links area and it shows Zoom and its subordinate tools.  However, when editing a powerpoint I click insert, but the link area only shows has link and action tools, both greyed out.  I understand how to use those 2 tools.  However,  Zoom does not even appear as an option and I don't know why.

I have another laptop PC running windows 10, with Powerpoint  in MS Office 365 Pro Plus V1707 and Zoom is available when in a powerpoint.  Why is it missing from my above powerpoint application?

Has anyone encountered this issue?

This feature is available only to Office 365 subscribers.

Could you please check if File > Account > See whether Subscription Product is written?
