I need to open an Excel document that contains multiple languages, meaning some columns are in English and some are in Chinese. I tried the language packs and it still did not open correct. I tried to change the non-Unicode text and still nothing.  I am at a loss and need suggestions.

    Hello Kate,

It is possible to open an Excel document that contains multiple languages. We suggest you try opening the said file and see if you encounter any issues. In addition, you may also check on this article for further assistance: Add a language or set language preferences in Office 2010 and later.

Let us know how it goes.
