Visio Reducing Image Resolution

How do I stop visio from automatically reducing the resolution of images I place into a VSDX file?

    Hi Neil,

    To help you troubleshoot the issue, we would like to confirm the following information:

    1. Please provide the screenshot of Visio 2016 Product Information. To get this screenshot, open Visio 2016 on your system, click File>Account, capture the screenshot of all the information mentioned under Product Information. (Note: please remove any sensitive information from the screenshot such as email address, full name).
    2. What happens when you insert the image? Can you please provide the screenshot of the actual image and image in Visio?
    3. Is this happening with all the images inserted?
    4. What is the size of the image?
