Hi,

I am trying to compare two excel files in spreadsheet compare. The file is not password protected but spreadsheet compare throws the error of entering the password. My file contains external links which need to be compared.

URGENT please help.

    Hi Tshah39,

Based on your description, when you use spreadsheet compare to compare two spreadsheets, the application pops up an error to ask you enter the password while you don't have password protected.

To clarify you situation, we'd like to confirm some information:

    1. What kind of external links you have in the spreadsheet?
    2. If you create two new spreadsheets only with external links, can you compare them?
    3. Please provide the version of the Excel, you can check it in File > Account.

    Regards,

    Tisky
