Hello,

I have an Excel spreadsheet with multiple sheets that the refresh all works without error on Excel 2010 but on Office 365 Excel I receive the error:  :The following data range failed to refresh:  51A RM usage and allocation summary  Continue to refresh all?"

If I refresh each workbook individually there is no error on the data ranges.  But if I do a refresh all I get the error for each data range.

Thanks.

    Hi Darrin,

In Excel workbook, go to Data tab, in Queries and connections, click the Refresh all arrow>Connection Properties, under Usage tab, check if Refresh this connection on Refresh all check box is enabled.

    Thanks,

    Neha

    Hi Darrin Mars,

Firstly, Please make sure you have enabled the data connections by using the Trust Center bar, or you must place the workbook in a trusted location. For more information, you may refer to this article: Refresh connected (imported) data

If the problem persist, please provide more information.

    1. Your Office version.
    2. Screenshot of the error message.
    3. Does the problem occur in particular workbook? You may try create one and copy the content to the new workbook to check the outcome.

The version of Excel is "Microsoft Excel 2016 MSO (16.0.9001.2080) 32 bit.

This error occurs in each of the 6 workbooks on a refresh all data but this error does not occur if I refresh each workbook individually.
