Hello there,

I have a page in OneNote that it's not letting me make a subpage - the options are greyed out (see image below). Anyone any ideas why? The Notebook isn't that full and I can create new pages and make them subpages of the same page.

We appreciate the information you've provided. To help you on this, we suggest that you check for any Office updates first and check it helps to resolve the issue. You may follow the steps provided on this link. Once you're on the page, select which version of Office you're using to get the procedure.

    Hi,

    • I am using OneNote 2016
    • I had not made any immediate changes (and the Notebook - a class notebook - was fully synced).
    • I tried copying all the information into a new page and deleting the old page, but the problem remained with the new page.
    • I also tried moving the page up and down in the list and this doesn't appear to have worked either.
    • I'm only having the issue with this one page! - the one below I can make a subpage of this one, and if I move a page up then I can make it a subpage of the previous one (which I can't do with this page).
