Reference misuse error received while creating new rules for conditional formatting in Excel 2016

Hi,

While trying to create a new formatting rule for conditional formatting, I am getting the following reference misuse operator error persistently which is driving me crazy and earlier when I created other rules using the same format, it worked! So may be there is some mistake that I am making now but I am overseeing it hence need your help. Please help me!

    Hello,

    If you try to use a constant array, you may get an error message, "You may not use reference operators (such as unions, intersections and ranges) or array constants for Data Validation criteria." As such, the list must be a delimited list, or a reference to a single row or column. For a detailed information, please refer to the following articles:
