Hi Aivis,

Have you tried updating to the latest version?

Regards,

Tisky

As You can see in my first post, I weere using word 16.9.1 and got Custom dictionary {k} issue. After rolling back to 15.41 Custom dictionary {k} issue disappeared.

As I said I don't have time play games and every day is very important to me.

    Hi Aivis,

We deeply understand the inconvenience that the problem has brought to you.

If you want to downgrade to previous version, you can download the old version in this article: Update history for Office 2016 for Mac.

Problem occured when I'm opening all files created earlier.

I will try downgrade Word because I don't have time "play game". Word should work.

    1. Error message pop up when I tried using Spelling and Grammar option.
    2. If You mean newly created dictionary? NO. The same error.

    Hi Aivis,

First, we'd like to confirm some information to clarify your situation.

    1. What option have you done before the error message pop up?
    2. If you create a new custom dictionary, can Word open the newly created dictionary?
    3. You can try resetting Word. Please follow the steps below:
    1. Quit all Office applications.
    2. Open Finder and go to ~/Library/Group Containers/UBF8T346G9.Office/User Content/Templates, move Normal.dotm to Desktop.
    3. Go to ~/Library/Preferences, locate the files com.microsoft.Word.plist and com.microsoft.Office.plist, move them to the Desktop (Word will rebuild them).
    4. Restart Word.

    Regards,

    Tisky
