That is all for now, thank you.
The users who have the share the document prefer the way it worked before, but I showed them this method and they are evaluating whether they will continue to use it.
Thanks.

Hello.
I have a user who benefited from an old warning in Sharepoint/Excel.
Before, when a user would open a file that was already being edited, they would receive a warning stating that the document was locked for editing. They no longer receive this warning, or any indication that the file has been opened previously. When they go to save it, they are alerted that a newer file exists on the server and they must work with the other user to see which changes have been made.
How can I configure Sharepoint and/or Excel so that there is a clear indication of who has a file open?
