How to create a Startup folder shortcut on desktop using group policy

We are looking to create a shortcut on desktop for folder "(%userprofile%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup). We have tried using Shortcuts GPO under preferences but its looking for an actual file but its unable to create a shortcut for startup folder. Any suggestions
