How to clear DirSync Error Report

We had an issue where a cloud only account had a proxy address for a mailbox we were migrating from our on prem exchange to Office 365.  We removed the duplicate proxy address from the cloud only account and we able to successful migrate the on prem account to Office 365.  The issue now is that our dashboard is still showing the error report from this event.  The report event lists that this event was detected over 2 weeks ago.  How can we clear this error report from our DirSync status page?  We've already resolved the error and verified that the proxy address only exists on one object.

Hi Corey Riley 76,

Sorry to get back to you late.

I have just heard from our related team and we recommend you safely ignore the error since the affected user has been migrated successfully and you've verified that the proxy address only exists on one object. Just feel free to let us know if there is any side effect of this error in the future.  Thanks for your time and cooperation.

Regards,

Sam

Thats fine except that we have a dashbord that reports we have a dirsync error.  If we ignore that then there's a good chance that we will miss an actually valid error notification.  It would be nice to have some sort of way to manually clear the error report either through the GUI or PowerShell.

thanks for looking into to it.

    Hi Corey Riley 76,

Firstly, I’d like to confirm if you referred to the steps in the following article to fix the duplicate proxy address issue:

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/2647098/duplicate-or-invalid-attributes-prevent-directory-synchronization-in-office-365

Moreover, I’d like to collect the following information to further look into the issue:

    1. Some relevant screenshots about the error message.
    2. I have sent you a private message to collect the cloud-only account and the synchronized account (no passwords) for further check.
