Shared Workbook Doesn't Save

Hello,

I'm managing a shared excel workbook.  Multiple users from across the company.  Saved on a company server.  One user reported that her information did not save.  She pressed, "save."  It saved.  She closed the workbook.  Re-opened the workbook.  The information did not save.

What caused this?  How do I fix it?  Please advise.

    Hi Steven,

First, I suggest the affected user create a new file on computer to check if he can save it.

It can help us check if the issue is related to Excel.

I couldn't confirm which caused the issue based on the information which you provide.

To narrow down the issue, could you please provide the information which I have collected on my last post.

    Thanks,

    Qing

    2. Check if the affected user can change the local file.
    3. The Office version. (Click File>select Account)
    4. Check if all users have the issue.
    5. Check if the issue occurs when you share another file with the affected user.

    Thanks,
