when i try to send a email document from my Microsoft word document it tries to open my old email account windows live mail, but i no longer use that application i am now using windows 10 mail. i have set this as my default email account but it will not send emails from this account. How do i change Microsoft windows to email with my windows 10 mail account?

AFAIK, WIndows 10 Mail is not MAPI compliant, which is a requirement for a mail application to be used to send an email from Word.
