Excel Surface chart

My Surface Chart does not match the data orientation.  The x-axis (horizontal or category) is correct, running left to right. But the y-axis (vertical or series) is upside down running bottom to top, from where it lies in the data.  How do I change the y-axis orientation with out changing the x-axis in a surface chart?

We appreciate your response. The Axis Options section allows users to place the Series list in reverse order. To do this, you can perform the following:

    1. In the Surface chart, click on the Series section.

    2. Right-click on the Series section, and select Format Axis.

    3. Under Format Axis, locate and click on Axis Options. 4. Tick the Series in reverse order option.

In addition, we'd recommend checking this link to know more about changing the plotting order of the values in a chart.

Let us know how it goes after you've performed the steps.

    Hi Bruce,

Your concern with Excel can be due to the structure of the raw data being used and/or the configuration of the chart. To better facilitate your concern, we'd like to request for a sample of the raw data that you've used to create the chart.

In addition, we'd like to request for a screenshot of the chart to help us get a better grip on your concern.

We look forward to your response.

    Thank you Jalu,

Below please find a small sample of the data and the original chart produced.  To match the orientation of the data the series 1 - 27 should start with 1 on top not the bottom.

    0 2.2 5 5.9 6.5 7.6 7.8 7.4
    -0.3 0.63333333 2.6111 4.5037 5.6346 6.5782 7.3261 7.5087
    -1.9 -0.5222222 0.9074 2.6741 4.2708 5.4945 6.4663 7.1003
    -2 -1.4740741 -0.363 1.0728 2.6726 4.146 5.3689 6.3118
    -0.4 -1.291358 -1.043 -0.111 1.2115 2.6767 4.0638 5.2482
    -1 -0.7119342 -0.269 -0.228 -0.268 -0.386 -0.685 -1.246

    Take care,

    Bruce
