CC when sharing a document

In the past, when I shared a Sharepoint document, I would get a confirmation email via cc.   Somehow, I recently stopped getting the confirmation email. 

Can someone point me to the setting that needs to be modified so that I can get these automatic cc's for shared documents?

Hi Mike,

SharePoint has made some changes on that, currently, we will not get notifications when sharing documents by our own because we already known that.

If you would like to know the access permission of documents and files, you can easily go to the Documents library information panel and hit Manage access.

Meanwhile, if you have any suggestions, we suggest you submit your feedback at SharePoint USerVoice.
