Excluding Caption Labels

When entering captions, I want to exclude my labels from being shown, and I found out that the Windows' version of Microsoft Word have an option box to do so when Mac's version simply don't have it.

I want to make a list of all captions with the label "Equation" with "Insert table of figures", but I don't want the labels to be printed on the caption where the equations are.

Is there any way to do it?

Thank you in advance.
