Hi,

How can I get latex conversion option in Microsoft word while typing maths equations? Many online sources show that option comes with word 2016 under design section but I am not getting an option like this in my word?

Whether you can see the LaTeX button in the Equation Tools ribbon depends on what version/built of Office 365 you have. It's a fairly recent addition.

I have two different builds of Office 365 ProPlus. The older one is Version 1708 (Build 8431.2215) from the Semi-annual Channel, and it does not have a LaTeX button. The newer one, Version 1802 (Build 9029.2167) from the Monthly Channel (Targeted) in the Office Insider program, does have the LaTeX button -- it has been there for several months.

Make sure you stay current with Office updates, and the button will appear eventually.

    Hi,

We'd like to confirm if what you want to use with Microsoft Word is latex as a document, a typesetting system or are you pertaining to the tool used in science and programming to display code? Kindly elaborate on what exact type of code or add-in you're pertaining too so that we can provide the most appropriate details.

We look forward to your response to our queries.
