To know more clearly about the issue, I hope you can post screenshots about the example worksheet so we can know how the sheet looks like and how the issue looks like.
Please check my steps below and correct me if I have any misunderstanding:
- Create two columns, column A named “New Project”, column B named “New company”.
- Select whole column A > Data > Data Validation > Data Validation > Settings > Validation criteria > Allow > select “list”
- Click in “Source” box > select the whole column B (named “New Company”)
- Then you can select company in “New Project” column
Please tell me in which step do you have the issue. If I have any misunderstanding, please describe more with screenshots.
