    To supplement Bernie's insightful question, if you have ever been able to open this workbook on this machine, what has changed?

    I have no idea about Module 3 Mr. Deitrick. But most of the systems are getting the same error.

    1.  Press WindowsKey-R (to open the Run window), then type

    excel.exe /s

    and choose OK or press Enter.  That will start Excel without any add-ins. Then try to open your workbook and see if you still get that error.

    1. Open that file, then save it as a macro-disabled .xlsx (instead of a .xls, which is a really old format)  That will remove any VBA code from the file.  Then try opening it again.
