Rendering Issues in Office

I have some rendering issues, as shown in the imgur link below:

To summarize, text in Word has these weird vertical gaps that take chunks out the letters.

The location of these gaps vary as I scroll through the document.

This also affects the ribbon, taking bits out of the letters (such as the n in design in the first pic) and turning the whole ribbon black.

This effect is even more pronounced in Excel, where we can see these think black lines all over the cells.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled and updated my graphics drivers.

    Try going to File>Options>Advanced>Display and change the setting for "Hardware graphics acceleration".
