Onenote draw syncing problems

I'm trying to use onenote to make notes using both my iPad and my MacBook.

When I use the draw tool on one device, for example to highlight a word, it doesn't sync properly to the other device. The highlight will of moved on the page and will no longer be highlighting the correct word? This happens both ways and kind of takes away the point of the draw tool?

    Hi Bailey,

OneNote can help you stay organized by making it easy to capture anything and eventually recall it when and where you need it. To isolate your concern about the OneNote syncing issue, we'd like to ask q few questions:

    • Are you using the OneNote application or a do you have an Office subscription?
    • Were there any changes made prior to the issue?
    • Is your OneNote application updated? To check for updates, go to File> Account > Update Options > Update.
    • What troubleshooting steps have you tried so far?

We'll keep an eye out for your response.
