I've read the help on how to change the default pivot table layout in office 365. However when the Data option with File - Options is not visible on my machine. Any suggestions?

Thanks Tisky,

I tried your suggestion but still no Data Options. I clicked into Advanced and scrolled a long way down and eventually found the same option. See below. I've attached my version and it looks the same as yours. Odd, but at least solved.

Thanks for your help.

    Hi Roy,

Based on my test, you need to create a Pivot Table and save the Excel file first. Then reopen the file, go to File > Options, you will see the Data tab or you can find Edit Default Layout under Data section in Advanced tab.

If you still cannot find the option, we’d like to confirm your Excel version, you can check it in File > Account. Then send the screenshot as below to us.

    Regards,

    Tisky
