Onenote sync error 0xE40200A8

Question

Hi Rena,

I am Sync error with Onenote. 2 of the 3 notebooks I have will not sync correctly, only certain tabs within the notebooks. Is there another solution instead copy/pasting the pages as previously suggested? Also what is the source of the problem to avoid having this issue again?

The application may not be updated, updating a certain application can make it run faster and better.  First, we suggest that you update OneNote using this link.

While I appreciate the "boilerplate"  - i have followed these instructions and issue remains unresolved.

I had this same problem, however it remained after I updated One Note. 

I have tried copying the folder and moving it to another notebook (so i can delete the original and move it back), but I keep getting a pop up that says that I can't move a folder unless it has already synced. 

Are there any other solutions that one could use to handle this?
