SharePoint Lists and Analytics

My organization uses a SharePoint overlay called LiveTiles. We are using it to better present the information in our SP 2013 intranet.

I was wondering if anyone has had luck finding a way to get analytics for list items. I've had no dice to this point and aside from Google Analytics, i was hoping someone had some luck getting click rates for list items. Any help or guidance would be most appreciated. Thanks!

    Hi David,

Please refer to what Webbrewers3 mentioned if what you need is to analysize the click rates for list items.

    Thanks,

The question is about "click rates",  not likes/ratings.

    David,

I'm wondering why you say "aside from Google Analytics"? That would seem like the obvious choice to get reliable click data. It's essential to first define what the data is going to be used for, but once that's done, there's no more reliable tool than either G Analytics or the more advanced tag manager.

    Hi David,

From your description, you want to set click rates for list items to get the rating analytics. Please refer to Add a ratings feature to your library. This feature has two rating experience you can select:

Click Likes to let site visitors indicate that they like a document or other list item. SharePoint displays the total number of Likes next to the item and, on hover, displays who has liked the item.

Click Star Ratings to let site visitors rate items with 1 to 5 stars. SharePoint automatically averages the star ratings of multiple visitor responses and displays the result next to the item.

    Thanks,

    Rena
