LaTeX conversion functionality disappeared in Word

Question

Hello everyone

Last night I installed the latest Office 365 updates. This included LaTeX compatibility for Word equations, and the ability to thus convert LaTeX equations to Word equations.

However, after rebooting my computer, the functionality disappeared, although Word still indicates the version 1705 to be installed and up to date. I can't find the LaTeX functionalities in the customize ribbon menu.

What happened? How can I re-able the LaTeX conversion functionality?

The latest updates that you've installed may cause the LaTex conversion functionality to disappear on your Word application. To isolate your concern, we'd like to verify which version of Office you're using. Also, we'd like to know if you've tried any troubleshooting steps yet.
