Creating multiple files from master

Hi

I have a regular activity where I receive a master file and then have to make four more files.  In the other files, I have fixed columns where the data will not change for each row of data.  In the remaining columns, I copy and paste data from the master.

I tried to use a macro but excel crashes so I was wondering whether I could use the query functionality or something else to automate the process?  I'd like to be able to open the master and the four files and somehow automate the population of the data.

Could anyone help please?

Excel 2016 Pro Plus with PowerPivot and Power Query (aka Get & Transform)

Transfer data from master Table into 3 separate Tables,

each of which has additional data.

    Share your files if different.

I am assuming the columns that you copy into the four files are one block of columns?

how large is the master file and what information in the Masterfile tells you which ones you copy to each of the four files?

Yes I take the data out of the master and paste in into certain columns in the 4 other files.  The 4 other files also contain fixed data in certain columns.

I want to automate it so I don't need to copy and paste....
