Having an issue with multiple users saving files to Sharepoint online

Has anyone experienced the issue of SharePoint online not saving changes you have made to files this happens for multiple users on multiple browsers, just recently started occurring a few days ago. We are STRICTLY using SharePoint online no on-prem. Just the Sharepoint online version. The weird thing is the modified date does change but the actual file does not.

    Hi Guru,

    To troubleshoot this issue, please share with me more details about it:

    1. Does this issue happen to a single file/list or files in a library or a whole site?
    2. Does this issue happen when you created a new file/library/site?
    3. Screenshot about error message if you meet any.
    4. Does this issue happening at the same time when many users edit it at the same time?
    5. Where do you edit related files when this issue happen? Online or offline?

    Besides, please also share with me the format of related files.
