There is a new update to 1712 on Monthly channel. How do we get this update then?

    Hi Patangkia,

We’d like to confirm that after you click Enable Updates, can you see Update Now button in when you click Update Options. Also, did Office 365 ProPlus automatically update to the latest version before you found this problem?

If yes, you may try Online repair to repair your Office 365 ProPlus. Please follow the steps below:

    1. Right-click the Start button and select Apps and Features on the pop-up menu.

    2. Select the Microsoft Office product you want to repair, and select Modify.

    3. In How would you like to repair your Office Programs, select Online Repair to make sure everything gets fixed, and then select Repair.

    Regards,

    Tisky

    Hi Patangkia,

You can go to registry to change the key value to enable the update.

    1. Right click Start choose Run or press Win + R to open Run. Insert regedit.
    2. Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\ClickToRun\Configuration set UpdatesEnabled=True.

Then go back to Office application to check whether Update is enabled.

Whoa, I took the online repair and it stuck on Step 1 for 12 hours and finally finished the repair!

Once the repair is done, I got the version 1712 build 8827.2148! But the office updates still face the same issue. I clicked on it, the same popup appeared and nothing changed, again. (The same issue happened again, just like post on 26-Jan)

I tried enabling the office updates but nothing happens after clicking "Yes" to the popup shown in the figure below. It still remains as "disabled" afterwards.

Also, I thought Monthly channel is already considered as Insider version?
