Opening Microsoft Project 1997 files

Can anyone help me open a Microsoft Project file from 1997 on Project 16?

I have tried to convert it between mpp to mpx.  

I have also tried to download older versions and resave the file.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

    Got your file, converted it to Project 2010 format and sent it back.

    If the Project 97 file is not corrupt, it can be opened with Project 98 and then go from there. If you do not have Project 98, or know someone who does, then I can help. My address is below.

    Note, if there are macros in the Project 97 file they will not be captured in the process since the VBA structure changed between Project 97 and Project 98.
