I'm finding that when I go to attach one of my excel documents to an email, the changes I've made (which show up when I open the document) are not showing in the attached document. Please help.

    Hi,

We're following your post and we noticed that it's been idle for more than 48 hours. We'd like to confirm that you can now attach an updated Excel file on your emails. If not, kindly respond so we can assist you further.

We look forward to your response.

If I download the document it does show the changes, so I can do it that way, but that has never been the case before this last week and a half, and I haven't changed anything. I have always used a gmail address.

Thank you for providing us more information about the issue. Since you mentioned that you are using Excel Online, have you tried downloading the file then attaching the file from the computer and not from OneDrive? Also, are you using Outlook to send emails or is it another email application?

    Please keep us updated.

I should have been more clear. I have an updated document that when I open it shows the changes, but when I try to attach that updated document to an email (in this case to email a schedule to my staff), the changes are not shown, even when I've deleted the former attachment and begun again many times. Excel online does not have a save button given that it saves automatically, so I'm not sure how I would otherwise save the changes I've made, especially when the changes DO show up in the document when I just open it up. It's totally bizarre.

    Hi,

Changes may not show if the attached document is not updated. Any changes that you may do with the document needs to be saved properly but it will not reflect to the attached document automatically. We suggest that you try to remove the current attachment and ensure that you are attaching the latest version of the file. To be sure, save a copy of the latest version in another location then get it from there.

Please let us know how it goes.
