Excel 2016 Statistical Charts

In my new version of Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2016 I don't actually see the icon for Statistical Chart on my Insert tab. I have seen what it should look like and where it is on other peoples versions but I don't literally see it on my version. Does anyone know if I need to turn it on or that I needed a different version of Office 16?

    Hello David,

The button for Statistic Chart looks like the image below.

However, if you do not have the said button, the components of your Office program might have corrupted. That being said, we will be performing some troubleshooting steps to resolve and to isolate this concern. First, let us check if you have the Statistic Chart enabled. Here's how:

    1. Click on the File tab.
    2. Select Options.
    3. Choose Advanced.
    4. Under Display options for this workbook, look for For objects, show.
    5. Select All.
    6. Hit OK.

Once done, check if you will have the said button. If not, we advise starting your Excel in Safe Mode. Doing so will start your Office programs in its basic state which will help us identify if the issue may have something to do with add-ins or with the app itself. The instructions on how to do so are posted in this article.

Hope this information helps you. In case you need further assistance, don't hesitate to post back.

OK I went to the Options and Display For Objects was selected All. However, I deselected it then closed the program and reopened it and selected All again and it worked. I now have the Icon for Statistical Charts. Thanks.

    Hi Desiree -

I've opened Excel in Safe Mode and the icons I needed were there. Does this mean I need to uninstall and reinstall excel? Selecting and deselecting "Display All" made no difference for me.
