Hello

Looking for second instance launch possibility at the trial account with VT-x and EPT Intel virtual techologies for Android emulator launching at the free tier account

I have Win 2012 server without nested virtualization.
Could I create second instace at the trial account, for example Win 2016 server with VT-x and EPT for Android emulator launching at the Android studio?
maybe any other alternative solution exists ?

thanx in advance

    Hi,

Thanks for posting on our forum!

Based on your description, I would like to determine a couple of points firstly:

    1. "Looking for second instance launch possibility at the trial account with VT-x and EPT Intel virtual techologies for Android emulator launching at the free tier account."
——Do you mean that you want to create a VM on an existing VM using EPT Intel virtual techologies for Android emulator? What is the free trial account you mentioned here?
    2. Which kind of virtualization platform are you using? If you use Hyper-V, you can try to create an embedden VM on an existing VM, but you may need to enable nested virtualization, see this article:
      https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/virtualization/hyper-v-on-windows/user-guide/nested-virtualization

If you use platform other than Hyper-V, you may need to directly contact certain technical supporters for your product.

Thanks for your support! Hope to hear from you soon!

    BR,
    Joan
