Incompatible error after Office version changed

Our program runs well with Excel 2010/2016 for both 32-bit and 64-bit. At first, Office 2016 32-bit installed on the PC, then I uninstalled Office2016 32-bit, and installed Office 2010 64-bit. But always have following errors when I start our program:

Compile error in hidden module: Utility.

This error commonly occurs when code is incompatible with the version, platform, or artchitecture of this application. Click "Help" for information on how to correct this error.

I un/reinstalled Office2010-32bit, Office 2010-64bit, but the error is still there. Anyone has met this issue as well? How to fix? How to remove 2016 clearly?

Thanks in advance.

    1. Is the hidden module "Utiity" part of your application? Is the developer of this application accessible so that he can debug?
    2. Generally, these errors are caused in VBA because of 64 bit of Office but you have completely removed all traces by Fix It and installed 32 bit.

In fact, no office 2016 64bit installed.

    1. Installed Office 2016 32bit
    2. Removed 2016 32bit
    3. Installed Office 2010 64bit, error happened.
    4. Removed 2010 64bit
    5. Installed Office 2010 32bit, error happened.

Now I want to instal Office 2010 32bit or 64bit first, and maybe later install Office 2016 with the same bitness.

So, in essence, you have Office 2016 64 bit left on your PC..(You should have only one Office and remaining you should uninstall)

    You may try following -

    1. File > Options > Advanced > Go to General section and check Ingore Other applications that use DDE.
    2. You should uninstall Office 2016 64bit by Fix It and install 32 bit of Office 2016.

For a clean uninstall, you would need to use Fix It tool -

Whatever Office version you are choosing to retain, you will need to make an Online repair (may take around one hour) - https://support.office.com/en-us/article/Repair...
