Microsoft 365 features that help users manage their subscriptions, account settings, and billing information.
Hi Jose L009,
Can you change the system admin PIN with my suggestions?

Our organization's Microsoft 365 account still has our old Director's password (4-digit PIN) controlling any changes. I know the code but would like to change it. How do I change it or allow individual stations to make changes without the password. I have admin permissions. We are currently using Window 10.

Hi Jose L009,
As the PIN feature works locally, we don't have any button or options to change the PIN through the Microsoft admin panel.
Meanwhile, I suggest you try the following steps to change PIN:
1.Use the keyboard shortcut Windows-I to open the Settings application on the system.
2.Navigate to Accounts > Sign-In options.
3.Locate the Pin section on the page.
4.Click the add button.
5.Enter the account password for verification.
6.Type the new pin you want to use, and confirm it.

Virgil
Thank you for checking. I am not able to do it that way. Is there a way through the Microsoft365 Admin panel?
Hi Jose L009,
Can you solve the issue with James's suggestions?
Regards,
Virgil
Hi Jose,
You may try the following steps:
Delete the following folder:
*C:\Windows\ServiceProfiles\LocalService\AppData\Local\Microsoft\NGC*
Run regedit
Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\PassportForWork
Add a DWORD key:
"Enabled"=dword:00000000
WARNING: Using Registry Editor incorrectly can cause serious problems that may require you to reinstall your operating system. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the incorrect use of Registry Editor can be solved. Use Registry Edit at your own risk.
