One Note - Can't access settings or sync

Hello,

My One Note Office 2016 refuses to allow me access to settings and will not sync. Today (6/13/2017) I updated to the latest office update. As you can see below, there are grey "X" in the corner of each book. This indicates these books are set to not sync, which a few months ago was desirable due to lag issues. Now, however, I need to back this information up. Yet the One Note will not allow me to access; settings, my profile, or more Notebooks. I've followed the steps recommended by MS, but with no results. I've restarted the program and my computer. I'm tempted to save my files individually then uninstall/ install.

Any suggestions?
