We suggest that you reinstall and re-register all the Windows applications for the account that you're using. Here's how:

    1. Open PowerShell (admin).
    2. In the command line, copy the following command and press Enter: Get-AppXPackage | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}.
    3. Restart your PC.

If the issue still persists, open the PowerShell (admin). Copy and paste the command: PowerShell -ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted -Command "& {$manifest = (Get-AppxPackage *Office.Sway*).InstallLocation + '\AppxManifest.xml' ; Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register $manifest}". Press Enter.  When finished, you can close the command prompt.

Give us an update on the result and we will be glad to assist you further.

    Hi François,

The Windows version that you're using is outdated, which may possibly cause the issue in the Sway application. We suggest that you perform a Windows update. To do this, open Settings > Update and security > Windows Update > Check for updates.

You can also download here the troubleshooter for Windows application to fix the issue on Sway that's preventing it from running properly.

We'll keep an eye out for your response.
