Help! I can't seem to adjust the margins. When I do, it becomes like these,

Microsoft 365 and Office | Word | For home | Windows

Based on the screen shot, you are dragging the marker for right indent. Instead, you should drag the actual page margin. Rest the mouser pointer on the margin so that it looks like a double arrow and then drag.

Don't forget to change the right indent back to zero.
