HI,
We have some apps in our Windows Store for Business account.
I would like to completely remove them from our account, but can see no option to do so. Is this possible?
Alternatively, how can I fully hide them from our private store? We have some that have their availability set to "No One", yet they still show when I view our private store.

It seemed that some of our apps were set to not show in the private store, but still did.
I had to toggle these back to visible, then toggle to remove them again and wait quite a while for the store to update.
Additionally, complete removal of apps from our inventory does not seem to be possible.

Follow these steps:
Sign in to the Microsoft Store for Business
Click Manage, and then choose Products & services.
Find an app, click the ellipses, choose Remove from private store, and then click Remove.
Choose the private store collection, and then under In collection, switch to Off.

Thanks, but the option to remove from private store does not appear in the ellipses menu as shown below:
Additonally, this app is set to not show in the store, but still shows up in the private store, as shown by two screenshots below;
I'm also still unclear on how we completely remove something from our store for business i.e get rid of apps from products and services where the app is a free app with no purchased licenses.

Do you have permission to remove them.
There is a possibility like your account doesn't have sufficient permission to remove them.
You may check with Microsoft Support.
As far as I know I do, as I am a global 365 administrator and can make setting changes elsewhere in store for business.
Interestingly, some of the ones that were set to "No one" for private store visibility, I changed to everyone, then went back in and set back to "No one".
Having now checked a couple of days later, our total apps in the store have gone down from 44 to 32.
It is worth therefore highlighting;
This just leaves me with the query of completely removing them from our account.
Are there any other suggestions or places to check permissions, as we are a CSP customer and cannot raise support tickets directly with Microsoft. I am not sure our CSP covers store for business for support.

I am a global administrator in 365, so that means I should have ALL permissions within the store for business management scope?
If you click on the elipses in the store on an app, do you have the ability to delete them?

Yes, this ability should be there.
I advise your to contact Microsoft 365 support team and tell them about this issue.
It seems the key line in the doucmentation that I missed is as below:
To remove an app from the private store
Sign in to the Microsoft Store for Business or Microsoft Store for Education.
Click Manage, and then choose Products & services.
Find an app, click the ellipses, choose Remove from private store, and then click Remove.
Choose the private store collection, and then under In collection, switch to Off.
The app will still be in your inventory, but your employees will not have access to the app from your private store.
I think therefore I cannot fully remove it from our inventory, only remove it from view in the private store?
