Excel for Mac has no built-in features to Find/Replace based on formatting. It may be possible to write a VBA procedure for that purpose, but I can't speak to that capability.

It may not be helpful for the current situation, but for future reference: If you format cells using Cell Styles you later can modify the Style as you wish. Any cells which have that Style applied will automatically update accordingly based on the new definition of the Style. Please see the support article:

Apply, create, or remove a cell style in Excel 2016 for Mac - Excel for ...

The use of Cell Styles also is more efficient & more consistent than relying on direct formatting.

    Hi Mia,

Did you refer to Bob’s advice? Do you need further help?

    Regards,

    Neha

Hi Neha - again - you should have marked Bob's reply as Answer unless you have a problem with it. Please wait a couple days after you send notification to the user there is an answer before asking whether or not the suggested reply worked. And then, please use a private message to inquire of the user, as it is not helpful to have a question as the final part of a Q&A thread.

    Hi Mia,

Please try the following keyboard shortcuts to open access search and display replace

Access search (when in a cell or when a cell is selected): +F

Display the Replace dialog box                                        : CONTROL + H

    OR

    +SHIFT+H
