Jumping cursor in Powerpoint Notes

I have a puzzle. I just bought a new bluetooth keyboard for my Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 tablet as I thought my other keyboard was broken. When I'm typing notes in Powerpoints (the whole point of the keyboards - notes at uni lectures) the cursor will randomly move to the beginning of the last word and start typing there. I cannot for the life of me work out why. I've tried resetting Powerpoint (Powerpoint 365) to factory from the tablet, I can't see any patterns in what triggers it, and it seems to ONLY happening in notes in Powerpoint. Any thoughts which may save my dwindling sanity would be much appreciated.

    Hi Acelyn

The problem started about 6 to 8 weeks ago I think. I hadn't made any changes prior to that and I don't recall any software upgrades (though that is no guarantee there wasn't one).

I started writing this response on the tablet with the keyboard but the same issue arose. Now I'm using the keyboard linked to my Galaxy phone and no problems so far.

Apart from resetting Powerpoint I've restarted the tablet and they keyboard. I couldn't see anything else to try.

    Thanks

    Rhonda

    Hi Rhonda,

For us to isolate everything here, we would like to know when did you start having this problem? Also, are there any changes made prior to this issue? Aside from resetting PowerPoint, what other troubleshooting steps have you done so far?

We will be waiting for your response.
