excel compatibility issue

original excel file was created in 97-2003 version. after upgraded to office 2016, this error occurred each time open in version 2016.

however, this is not happen on every windows7 machine. it can works in other w7 machine with no issue at all. kindly advise how should i convert the file?

i'd tried whatever sources given from internet, however, it doesn't solve the issue.

    hi , yes vb codes. it working on version 2010..

    We appreciate your time responding back to us with the result of the workaround that we've provided. We'd like to know if you're working on your Excel file with specific codes. Also, have you tried performing the steps from this article on how to open new file formats in earlier versions of Microsoft Office?

    hello,

    i've tried the workaround given above. however, it still do not solve the issue. it works in some others computer only, either in win7 pro or enterprise version, i suspect that it may due to our company windows image causing that error. i need further solutions if possible , thanks.
