Save As window blank

Question

When I attempt to "Save As" in Microsoft Excel 2011 the window is blank except for Tags, Hide Extension, New Folder, Cancel, and Save. I am not able to change the file name or anything else except Save. Help! I don't want to write over my previous document!

The most likely explanation is that your installation of Office 2011 is several updates behind. Version 14.7.7 is the current - and final - update to that release. The update can be downloaded by clicking the link below:

According to your description, I suggest you try the following steps to check the outcome:

1)Create a new Excel workbook.

2)Copy the problematic worksheet to the new one, then try saving to check the outcome.
