Hi,

Im using Onedrive both for Private and Business use. The Private Onedrive is working without any problems. But when it comes to the "OneDrive for Business" im struggling with High CPU usage and noisy fans. The application keeps on reporting Looking for changes and Processing changes thus all files are OK with a green mark.

I have tried to delete the UserTelemetryCache.otc and UserTelemetryCache.otc.session without any help. I have also tried to reinstall the OneDrive application, without any help.

What to do?

Hi,

Version is 1703 (OS Build 15063.608). I' m running Symantec Endpoint Protection Secure.

I actually tried the following; https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/onedrive/forum/odwork-odedit/onedrive-constantly-processing-changes/95401540-31c0-42b2-9151-22da1b748e1c

And that did the trick for now. Another thing was that the Location of the Pictures folder on the computer was set to a onedrive folder. I will monitor to see if it helped on the issue. But for now i haven't seen the high CPU usage.

    Hi Kristian,

It's possible that some OneDrive for Business settings are causing your computer to have high CPU usage. We'd like to learn more about your concern so that we could provide the proper resolution. We just have a few questions for you:

    • Which build version of Windows 10 is one your computer? To check, click Start, type winver, and press Enter. For example, 14393.1066.
    • Are you using a third-party antivirus program?
    • Did you make any changes to your computer before this started happening?

Additionally, please post a screenshot of your Task Manager so that we could study your concern further.

We look forward to your response.
