sweep rules log

Question

How long does 365 maintain history of sweep rule activity in the sweep rules log?

I am trying to understand when rules were created -- is the log overwritten or deleted or is it all activity?

Hi Tony Etnyre,

Thanks for your sharing. According to my test by following the steps you mentioned. I received the Diagnostics report with 6 TXT attachments. I found that I can see the create time in the SweepRules.TXT as the following screenshot shown:

When I run a diagnostics report (availble as a link at the bottom of the Inbox and Sweep Rules section under Mail settings in Office 365 Online.   I get several reports, one of which is the sweep rules log.  Looks like this pasted below.  Question is is the start date of the log the start date the rules were put in place?

Hi Tony Etnyre,

According to my test, audit log can’t find out when the sweep rules were created,  and there seems to be no other way to find it. Could you please tell me what’s your meaning about sweep rules log?

The Audit logs, if turned on for your tenant, are kept for 90 days I believe by default.

I'm not sure if the Audit logs track sweep rule activity.
