Excel functionality in Microsoft Remote Desktop in Macbook

Hi all,

I'm using Microsoft Remote Desktop beta in my macbook to connect to a remote win 10 VM. Everything works fine and I have installed Office 365 etc. The problem is that although ctrl works well instead of cmd in the vm, when it comes to Excel the functionality is very limited. I cannot use the trackpad to hover and scroll through the spreadsheet and most importantly the key combinations like ctrl+arrows or ctrl+shift+arrows don't work, making it very difficult to work.

Is there any solution, keyboard app mapping or setting that would fix this?

Thanks
