Word is finishing analyzing your document continues forever once I select either Bullets or Number buttons.

Are you using a computer or a mobile device?

Generally, the bullets and numbering buttons are not suitable to use in large documents (IMO).

You would want, instead to be using specially set-up styles.

The error of finishing analyzing your document happens when you are working on a large file. It might be caused by an add-in which is not working properly with your Word application. We would like to know the following information for us to better isolate your concern:
