When we install Office 2016 from Office 365 portal, Skype for business is installed with other Office 2016 applications.
Since you are installing Skype for business separately and you are getting the error, we will need the following information to troubleshoot the issue:
- Please provide the screenshot of your Office 365 for business subscription page. To capture the screenshot, sign in to Office 365 portal, click on settings (gear icon on top right), under “Your app settings”, click Office 365 > Subscriptions. You can also access this page via this link.
- Please provide the following screenshots:
- Open Word 2016 on your system, click File>Account, capture the screenshot of all the information mentioned under Product Information.
- In Word, click File>Account>About Word, take the screenshot of About Word window.
- Please double-check if you have any other version of Office installed on your system.
- How and from where did you install other Office 2016 applications?
- Which Operating system are you using?
