I have set of numbers shown week by week, below. I want to use a single conditional formatting rule to display a green arrow if the weekly figure has increased compared to the previous, amber arrow if it has stayed the same and a red arrow if it has dropped i.e. Cell C2 looks to cell B2, cell D2 looks to cell C2 but without me having to specify in each cell what the lookup is.
I can only see how to achieve this by creating a new rule for each week's figures, is there a more efficient way?
